  1. Excellent: point well made. And each can view the other as freed, as well.

  2. Thank you so much for you're work on this blog. I am Muslim but my wife is Christian we have discussed issues of comparative though and religion and have found you're work to be very relevant. Their are many demands placed on both men and women to be more fashion oriented, more objects of visual satisfaction, it is overwhelming at times. Thank you (sorry I would post mire but I'm at work)..lol

  3. Hey Lauren, I saw your interview on the Today Show in Australia this morning. I've just finished reading through all your blog posts, and I've found them really inspiring! As a 17 year old girl, it's so hard to feel beautiful at all, even without being fashion and beauty concious. On top of normal, human insecurities, those teenage hormones really work wonders for one's self esteem. And meeting society's expectations as an attractive woman is a difficult task, covered or uncovered, made up or not, people will always find something that isn't right. A womans right to choose how she looks, whenever she wants, is a right that should be upheld no matter what. The stregth you have kept throughout this experiment is truly amazing, and I hope at some point I am courageous enough to attempt something similar. Right now, I'm just trying to wear less makeup, and smile more! Thankyou for existing!!

  4. I never thought I'd see the day where anther living breathing person would have similar views towards modesty as me.
I'm muslim and I love your blog and all the work you do in terms of modesty.
